Junior Skill Builders -
An Introduction to Basic Drawing Techniques
This introductory class will lead beginning drawing students through the essential elements of basic drawing. Students will create a reference “sketchbook” exploring line, shape, form, and value along with discussions and activities in observation. In addition, they will learn about the process of planning a drawing. While the emphasis of this class is placed more on exploration and discovery rather than a finished product, the kids will get to use their practiced skills on at least one final project.
